One thing not miss here
The Volubilis Ruins are absolutely incredible. They're older than Jesus and more accessible to visitors than any other historical site I've ever been to. Tours are cheap!
Stayed at
I lived with a Moroccan family in Fez. This was a weekend trip. The name of our guesthouse was Riad Zahraa.
Ate at
We eat most of our meals in the Riad and from vendors in the Meknes Medina (market).

Archaeological Site of Volubilis Meknes and these Roman ruins rachel mahoneyMy trip to Meknes and these Roman ruins are some of my most favorite travelling experiences.  Everyone was friendly, the city was fascinating and brimming with history, and ruins were spectacularly accessible.
