Where the Royal Crypts are: Wat Rachaburana AyutthayaOne of the three main temples in the core zone, alongside Wat Phra Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Wat Rachaburana was the single site where treasures were found during excavations. Its principle prang has a two-tiered crypts that are worth visiting as they hold wonderful ancient murals — the only sets of its kind one can ever see in all of Thailand.
