Riga, Dome Cathedral
Riga is a very cosy city with lots of culture and arts. It’s packed with art galleries and local craft stores. The city is beautiful, also cheap. The best time to visit May-Sept, the worst: March or April. If you like winter, come December-February.
They say, that the first decorated Christmas tree was erected in Riga, on Livu square in front of the City Council and the Blackheads’ House.
This year 2014 Riga along with Swedish Umea is a Cultural Capital of Europe. Also, starting from this year Latvia uses Euros, which makes travelling more convenient.https://www.gounesco.com/heritage/proof/riga-dome-cathedral/https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/gounesco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/29114856/riga-old-town-576x1024.jpghttps://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/gounesco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/29114856/riga-old-town-150x150.jpgUncategorizedcapital,Church,Dome Cathedral,Doms, heritage, julie sve, latvia,Latvija, religion,Religious heritage, riga, travel, travelling, world heritage, world heritage travel
