Monuments of Delhi- Mughals and Slave Dynasty make their Mark.
We had a lot of planning involved in this trip and taught us why we need to be flexible. we changed our destinations a few hours before we had to catch the bus skipped on a WHS but had a lot of fun.
Would you believe we went to visit the Red Fort and it was closed. Thankfully we had another day in Delhi or else i would have posted the board as proof.
1. Always take Duronto if you need to go to Delhi from Hyderabad
2. Walk to the tomb. People might tell you its too far but it is cerrtainly doable. If not catch a rickshaw.
PS: ignore the pajama they are my favourites for train sleeper journey.
We had landed from Srinagar last night and had first full night sleep in days. The smile is quite genuine.
Take care the Qutub Minar metro station is quite far don’t walk take the shared auto.
This photo deserves a special mention. this is what you see when you visit Red Fort on 13th August. In case i would not have made it next time i would have sent in this pic for proof.
I would like to clarify that the reason why i look so irritated in next pic is because it was raining. We had no umbrellas, Rain Coats or Newspaper. Truth is we didnot have newspaper throughout the trip but we managed to find someone who provided us with one. We hoped that the Independence day celebration would suffice as a proof of date.
