Heritage Fun at Red Fort
I have been to many heritage sites but recently I visited the Red Fort as it is very popular among tourists so when i get there I was purchasing the ticket and I saw that ticket for Indians is of Rs. 10 and for outsiders its Rs. 250 then I entered through very big door and there were many shops for accessories and apparels and gifts but they were more costly than market , after that i go further and there was path for walk but it was getting repaired after that I visited all the parts of it like Bu Halima’s Tomb and Garden , Afsarwala Tomb and mosque , Araba Sarai , Nila Gumbad , Chillah Nizamuddin Aulia , Barber’s Tomb , Museum and it was very beautifully crafted and seeing those unique designs was very good experience and it was very informative too , I saw many foreigners there but the bad thing was some locals were forcing them to get photos with them and foreigners were feeling uncomfortable. After that i saw the point of amalgamation of modern and ancient period from where I can see the road going through the fort where Yamuna river used to flow at the time of Humayun and after that I saw unique point which is known as the secret cave which goes to Jama Masjid and Agra as said by the guide but it was closed and restricted. At last I visited the museum in which there were many original things of that time like weapons , furniture , utensils for cooking and also some original paintings of that time and I felt really good to see those things. I got an imagination that how people used to live their at that time. Concludingly it was an unforgettable journey and I was happy to see the fort as it was worth visiting and I want to explore more heritage sites now.
