GoUnescoselfie at Dilli Haat

For the GoUnesco Selfie, I chose Dilli Haat.

dilli haat

Dilli Haat is a popular market in New Delhi. It is a treasure house of Indian culture, handicrafts and ethnic cuisine. Dilli haat is a great place to see glimpse of entire indian culture at one place. A unique bazaar, in the heart of the city, it displays the richness of Indian culture. One can buy handicrafts, kashmiri shawls, scarves, silver jewellery, marble carving, clothes, Indian art paintings and other lots of stuff by craftsmen from all over the country. One can also spot dancers in traditional costumes and folk music being played. An additional attraction is the food stalls which offer food from different regions of the country.

It is the perfect place where one can find a blend of craft, cuisines and cultural heritage. It is easily accessible by the metro.
