With the onset of Monsoon or “Shraavan”, a lot of members of the Generation X and Early Millenials reminiscence the time when they jumped puddles and swayed swings, amidst nature’s beautifully orchestrated ballet of raindrops. A lot of these memories also involve traditional regional games, played every nook and corner by children at mind and heart, alike. The kind of games one never really forgets, and only require a gentle push to take someone decades back in the blink of an eye. This workshop aims on taking a trip down memory lane, re-introducing games like Ganjifa, Saripat, Chaduranga, Wagh-Bakri et cetera; to those who know nothing about these and quench the nostalgia of those, who witnessed these in their full splendour, once upon a time. Contributing towards the heritage and culture of something so rooted Alive, the Intach Pune Chapter’s Heritage club plans on organising this workshop on the 7th July, 6:30 PM onwards.

See you there!
