One of the most amazing archaeological sites, full of stories, histories and livelihoods. Challenged by waves of tourists and the archaeologists syndrome of “conservation-as-it-is”, the eternal and ephemeral image of the site as being a “ruin”  – heterotopia VS the actual crumbling of some of the temples due to rain and lack of resources. Amazing and persistant local people. Beautiful sunsets
