I managed to visit three classical gardens in Suzhou. Although the Humble Administrator's Garden is considered as the finest (and largest -- it is more of a park!) amongst the WHS-listed gardens, the rather small, unpretentious Lion Grove Garden really sealed the deal for me --- the gardens, especially the Lion Grove, should be in anyone's top 10 sites to see in China.
